Two 5-round Swiss tournaments (Open and Junior divisions)
15 minutes per player plus 5 seconds increment from move 1.

Prize giving as soon as possible after last game completed
There are no restrictions for the Open division. Adult players may enter, but they can only enter the Open division.
The Junior tournament is a ‘beginner friendly’ tournament, with primary and intermediate aged children preferred.
Send an email to Matthew Ashton mattash888@gmail.com with the subject ‘Lynch Cup’ and include your name and the division (Open or Junior) you wish to enter. Once payment is received you will receive a reply confirming your entry.
Payment can be made to the Hawke's Bay Chess Club 03-0658-0245215-00 - please include the player's name and ‘Lynch Cup’ as the reference.
This tournament is strictly limited to a maximum of 42 entries, on a first paid basis.
